November 2009 CRITICAL READING Discussion

The leader was EGALITARIAN and wanted equal rights for all her constituents.

Yes okay, I know it’s egalitarian, and I would have put that if I had the question. But I didn’t!

I don’t remember inveigle. Add TACITURN - his long-winded explanation contrasted with his usual TACITURN manner

do you guys remember a question in the language passage about the mother being “unconventional” toward her daughter? or something like that? i swear “unconventional” was in there

Yes, the answer was unorthodox I believe.

I think I put unorthodox as well.

Yeah I had unorthodox too.

i got most of them

but for the two hats question and the barrier… i got otherwise…

sweet, can someone explain to me the one about "stop using chilidish words or something like that?

Had the same as Jshapiro105 but also had a music conductor.

I had that too.

does anyone remember putting exurbanent for one fill in?

i think the two hats one was the oceanographer giving a “personal account” on ocean photography was the answer because his account is subjective. Anyone remember any of the other choices for the naive question?

Endemic was the native species living that island but were dying off from other invasive speices or something

I put the biologist one I think.

anapo i got subjective, and combine i got biologist

Wait, how can you agree with both of us? Oceanographer and biologist were two answers to the same question, weren’t they?

im confused about the biologist and monkey answer… How is that “two hats”

I was about to say the same thing haha; I agree with you Combine, I put biologist as well.

The biologist is playing a role in both science and politics, the two hats that the author refers to in the passage.
