I can see how it’s unfair too. I mean I have some practice tests that I’ve done over a year ago. Then I did those practice tests again (someone gave me two copies) for this year, and I realized that even though I didn’t remember anything, I still kinda knew what the passages were about when I rad them. So I didn’t have to focus as much as when I’m reading something new.

cr: OP, I think you did have experimental. I do not remember festoon/solipsistic at all and I had fingerprinted Carribean farmhouse. Extremely harsh overall; I think I got about average, possibly below because I missed some SCs, which I usually perform flawlessly in.

math: Typically my best section; I thought it was super easy (the version that did not have 7^1600), but then I went home, saw answers on CC, and went ‘well, crud, there’s no way I improved’

writing: Average. (Dragonwings/Amelia Earhart) Would’ve been easy, but there were a few that even now I’m not sure of.

Overall, if I could retake it, I would, but I’m a senior and I just don’t want to deal with this anymore.

I know that you know which type of section is the experimental (i.e. extra section in math), but I had an extra section in writing on my test… one was harder (the earlier one after the essay) and the other was easier (in the middle where the 35 question one NORMALLY is). How do I know which one is which? I hope it was the earlier one after the essay because I did worse on that one for sure.

^True, but if you don’t answer the question, you are technically losing out on 1 mark. Even though there is no penalty, you don’t get a point either

So if section 1 was the essay and section 2 was a hard writing section and section 6 was a moderate writing section, the moderate, regularly placed writing section could still be experimental? I was thrown off by the 2nd section early on… ugh…

I’m pretty sure section 6 is experimental. Don’t experimental sections usually come in the second or third half of the 25min sections? But…I hope that I’m proven wrong and that section 6 is the actual thing.=/

I had the version with the Caribbean CR and I still don’t know whether section 2 writing or section 6 writing was experimental…I’m hoping it’s section 6 that is experimental.

CR: Moderate.
SC = Extremely easy! I’m sure I got every question right.
Passage = First I thought it was pretty hard, but it turns out I did better after looking at consolidated answers. (Farmhouse, Langston Hughes)

M: Easy.
I finished every section 10 minutes early, but it turns out I made 1 stupid mistake.

W: Moderate
Essay = OK, 9-11.
MC = ■■■. I got a lot of NEs, which made me freak out and lose concentration.
Definitely not my best. I’m scared to find out what I got for this section because it could range anywhere from 650 - 750.

Writing was easy, prompt was okay. Reading had some longer passages and some ambiguous questions, and math was harder than usual, barely finished in time. Not sure if I want to cancel my score, I’m really iffy on how I did on the CR.

how many sections are there supposed to be for writing, math, and reading? 3 each? There are 10 sections, 1 being essay, so 3 each or what? so which are considered experimentals?
