November 2010 SAT - Critical Reading

Umm…I had 3 writing sections? Which means I had an experimental. The 10 min section is not an experimental. So I guess the college girl is experimental reading??

Wow backfing that is a really bad attitude.

Could someone just elaborate on what the section was about, or is that impossible until the embargo is lifted?

i didnt get a college girl passage.

i thought the CR was hard. a lot of the questions were really hard to answer. ■■■

the embargo has not been lifted. people on the west coast are still taking the test. do not talk about the test until theyre done

Critical reading was pretty hard, and I was not the only one to say that…
I had writing experimental and I think that’s the second “big writing section” because it was just too easy I wish the other one is the experimental but I don’t think…
The answers were ambiguous in the passages, the sentence completion : sometimes you could really hesitate betwen two answers. I’m sure I did a lot of mistakes so I will take it again in December maybe, hopefully I already signed up because I was sure that because of the stres it will be complicated and it was the first time for me…

I thought it was easy, so im thinking i had a different test (im not overly smart; only average)?
I had passages about: visuals in physics, a girl’s farm house, & lying

I had them too. i thought the lying passages were hardest overall.

^same cr sections as danisweets

I had echolonation or something like that, paying the university athletes or not, the global warming and something with an Asian… 2 others I don’t really remember but the worst think for me was the time…

@backfing
you don’t have to be so nasty, i was pointing out that people are discussing writing on A THREAD MEANT FOR CRITICAL READING. i know how to read, so don’t give a nasty attitude

maybe there were 2 versions today???

I wish I could remember some of the questions for the passages. None come to mind though. Anyone remember any of them?

egzone…what time zone did you take the test in? Maybe you had a different version. If so, make a new thread for that version

I remember one particularly. But i don’t know if i can reveal it yet. o.o

I don’t know but for the echolonation it was with the bats and how they see and that humans can’t do it. I also had one guy with something with music…

You guys can start discussing everyone is already talking on the math/writing threads.

i had the bat and music one too.

I’m sorry I’m in NYC so I don’t think we had the same…
Sorry…

There are definitely two versions of the test. I’m from NJ, my passages were about echolocation, college athletes, and jazz music (might not’ve been jazz, but music.)

@danisweets
did you have a section about the caribean or something colonial
