i think one of the quantum physics questions was about what the primary purpose of the third paragraph was. I don’t remember exactly which one i put, though.

are there only 2 versions of the test? Because I know I had an experimental reading (because I had one extra CR section), but others are saying there was an experimental math…

@violinmaster

Basically i believe there are 2 versions of math and reading

Then you have the experimental section, which some people had in math, reading or writing

(so there’s basically 6 different versions)

@liyixinhua

for “That’s right”, I also put concede to the previous point or affirm her last statement or sth like that.

for the conversation between father and daughter one (that’s the last question of the passage right?), i also said they are both attentive to sth sth…

And also, can anyone tell me what’s the context for farmhouse’s answer “a ritual between daughter and father”… which question was it and how was it worded??

I have no idea who’s doing it so I just wanted to post this for an answer. For some reason the other thread is allowed to exist but not this version of the CR… why?!?

There is “population” in SC? I totally missed that, anyone remember what sentence was it about?

I don’t even remember the Hummingbird reading, what was it about?

In Caribbean one, I disagree with “Caribbean ppl often denied sense of identity”, I specifically remember to not to pick this answer but forgot my reasoning.

For deception’s could/should say, what were some of the other choices?

@jessicaxu: I also put “they were both attentive their feelings or smt like that”

“That’s right” is to show how surprising the statement was (not exact wording)

^marsha.ss, 1) and 4) are the most contested answers right now…I called it an “exhibit” and said “college athletics should be considered as work”. However, for 4) I was deciding between that and “changes to something are iminent”

SAT discussions format

The discussions have to remain organized in the format we adopted previously.

Math
Critical Reading
Writing
Experimental (equating) sections
International
Sunday test

There is no need or reason to call them Official - keep it simple.

All redundant threads will be merged into one of the six major threads, and this regardless of different tests or versions.

@hypsmc: the hummingbird one was talking about how long billed hummingbirds had a higher rate of surviving than short billed ones, and then talking about long billed hummingbirds often got stuck in flowers and were often seen cleaning their beaks.

Well something has to be changed, because for some strange reason on this SAT collegeboard decided to use 2 different forms of the test. It doesn’t make sense to put them both together in the same CR thread if we’re discussing two different answer sets. That’s just a recipe for confusion.

I agree. There are TWO separate tests! You separate the math and CR section because they are different problems, for coherence. BY that logic, you should also separate the two CR sections and the 2 math sections. Joining them together only creates a huge jumbled mess.

Is there a reason why the two threads were merged? There were clearly two different tests (echolocation and quantum physics for the CR passages) and this just makes everything confusing. It was much more organized when there were two separate threads, since you don’t have to go through posts that you don’t care about.

What score do you guys think I’ll get if I missed like 7 or 8 in CR? I’m just assuming I missed that many…

does anyone rememebr the other choices for the question about “produced” in the carribbean passage? I know most ppl are saying “generated” but what were the other choices?

Is there a consolidated list for the echolocation/college athletics version?

confused about how these threads work, but anyways:

there was a question about the wilderness and i put “untrammeled” (i know that’s wrong - what was the answer?)
there was also a question about that asian chick where it asked why she hid her drawings from that dude. (again, what was the answer?)

and finally, the only thing that confused the **** outta me was a dual passage about colleges building moral character. good god, that made me want to jump out the testing room window. let’s go over answers!

Since this is so messed up now because they merged the threads, we should put which version we had at the beginning…

Either Echolocation Version , or Phyics Version

SO, here’s my question for the Echo Version, did anyone get the question about the
really small dinosaur (mercurial was a choice) and about giant sea creatures (one of them was elucidate/disparity I think). It was an SC. If so, what was the correct answer? Was diminutive or insidious one choice?

Echolocation version: I don’t believe I had any questions about dinosaurs or giant sea creatures. I had the math experimental, so that may have been on the reading experimental.

Same, that was probably an experimental.
