November 2010 SAT - Critical Reading

lolol you just wanted to bust me? hahah
and I just put in one of my old SAT practice test scores because I didn’t take an official one yet and wanted to give chancers something to go with. That was like, when I first started studying for the SATs. So give me a break.

I’ve gotten 2300+ on the last like 5 practice tests I’ve taken.

…um I moved up to the A1 team last year? so you don’t know what you’re talking about?

Oh, and I forgot to tell you: you’re a stalker.

lol chill out guys. the internet is not the absolute truth. i could care less about if she lies about stats, because it doesnt affect me in any way.

^ Like. 10-char

this was entertaining. Who’s next? haha

Well now that backfing has embarrassed him/herself unsuccessfully trying to “bust” me, let’s go back to SATs.

…so I’m guessing no consolidated list for the echolocation version?

There was one in the old thread, but since it got merged with this one I can’t find it anymore.

Darn it. A consolidated list and curve prediction would be greatly appreciated, since I’m debating about canceling my scores.

I found these, but they don’t have much:

Sentence completions:

  1. derivation
  2. baleful-trepidation
  3. posthumously
  4. miscellany
  5. feasible…monetary
  6. confound…
  7. something…abashed???
  8. eclectic
  9. languorous- langorous: a man being listless was the context.
  10. neglible?
  11. digression?
  12. Distrust
  13. Childish
  14. quiescent…exacting. the court one. the judge or something’s life was far
from ___; for her appeals she had to make _ preparations
  15. unnerved…rude
  16. renegade
  17. Sequestered…was there a second blank?

Okay. For #17 I think it was arrest…sequestered. And there wasn’t even a consolidated list for the passage based questions right? -_-

what was the sentence about for #16 with “Renegade?”

for renegade, I think it was about the painter/author who became a noncomformist and joined some group, i really can’t remember exactly what it was…

do u remember the OTHER choices for #16? like the other words?
thanks :)

well I remember one was definitely mercenary, which is what I put :frowning:
and none of the other ones fit at all.

oh crapppppp
thats what i put
damn
there goes one question for sure ;'(

only 1?! wow I’m jealous… I’ve already got like 7 wrong, cuz I don’t know any vocabulary haha.

-____- lol u fail graceful. vocab is the easiest to improve.

no vocab. you have to WORK and work to improve…i mean memorize…i didnt memorize like a 1000 words (like i was supposed to) but i memorized a good amount
like idk i think it seems only 1 wrong from wat i can see (but i probs got more wrong) *sighh haha
last time for oct SAT, i only got 1 wrong in vocab, but the CR questions MURDERED my score

What was the abashed question? And am I the only one who doesn’t even remember the negligible/digression questions?
