November SAT Score Predictions

Your predicted scores are all very high for me :(

from past experience, my predictions shouldn't be taken seriously

mathematics 770
critical reading 680
writing 700
essay 10

2150

predicted curve anyone?

In October my actual score turned out to be 100 pts higher than my prediction, so this time I'm prediciting a 2300. ;p

My new prediction:

730 M
720 CR
740 W

Total - 2190

Apparently I did better on the writing then I thought. hopefully my essay is graded subjectively well

M: 730
CR: 660 (Hopefully)
W: 750

Total: 2140

Wanted to break 2200 but whatever.

hmmm..well I need to re-evaluate my prediction methods, because my ACT prediction was a bit high. HOWEVER, I felt pretty confident about the math and ended up with a 36. I felt very confident here, so I will stick with the 800.

jwarlick, I'm pretty much in your situation. I desperately want that 2400, but I think the CR will take it from me. I know I have the potential to get 800 in every section, but we'll just have to see, I suppose.

CR: 770 (I basically know I missed 2-3 vocab Qs)
M: 800
W: 780/11 Essay (My best Essay yet by far, and I felt very good about this section as a whole).

Comp: 2350.

sigh so optimistic. Can't wait to get my predictions/hopes shattered in 6 days :)

Oh, and ChoklitRain, which math Question do you think you missed?

CR - 760
M - 780
W - no idea, i don't know how the collegeboard will arbitrarily grade my essay

AAAAGH scores come out in like 4 days!!!
I'm predicting:
780 M
770 W
800 CR
for a grand total of 2350. Although I suck at predicting things...a couple of years ago when I thought I got a 1900 I got a 2230...and then when i thought I got 240 on the PSATs I got 218 >_<

i really don't want to jinx it, but I do think I did pretty well. Im hoping, praying, and optimistically predicting

CR 760
M 720
W 780

--> 2260. I would be absolutely overjoyed. I'm just a junior so there are many, many opportunities to retake, but I just want to get the SAT over with so I can concentrate on AP's and SAT II's.

What do you guys think the curve will be like for this one?

^
Math: very harsh
CR: easier curve than average
W: normal

No, I think the curve for Writing is not necessarily normal; it depends on the equating section of each version of the test.

^right, but I would say that mine, personally, was normal

M= 760
CR= 600
W= 650
= 2010
I believe math will be harsh because the questions were very easy.
Writing I believe will be normal.
Critical Reading I do not know because I bummed on one section but excelled in the other two.

either all of you are over-achievers or incredibly smart. I envy the latter

^ well I made a 2220 cold the very first time without studying, sooooo idk if that means I'm an overachiever or smart, but hopefully I'm up to 2350 now :)

3 days, guys!

praying for a very lenient CR Curve....

i predict: -7, 1 omit CR: 680
-0 Math: 800
-0 to 2 Writing, 10-12 essay: 770-800

I either need a 710 Reading or an 800 Writing........
or else i would have wasted a test and money and life

I hate to break it to you, but I think the general consensus is that the CR curve will be harsher than normal :(

harsher? I thought the general consensus was that it was going to be average or even lenient.

-8 might still be 700, or most likely 690.
