can anyone shed some light on how the November test scores are factored into early admissions? i know Harvard says that November is the last test date for us to take, but i still don't really understand how they will use it. When i applied i was one SAT2 shy of the requirement. however i called harvard and they said that November test scores were on time. but i get this nagging feeling in myself that i could have been deferred if they thought my app at the time was incomplete. can anyone she some light please? it would be much appreiciated. thanks!!!!

yeah i did, but i was also wondering hypothetically like if someone receive a 2000 on their SAT but then got a 2300 in November, how would that also work out? i assumed that the selection committees started as early as the 17th of november or so. thanks again

actually i was pretty worried about that too since i had a nov sat II score coming in. i checked collegeboard though, and it actually said that my november score was downloaded to harvard on 11/20. i guess they get them even earlier than we do?

hmmm i also have a nagging question, if i took both the SAT1 and ACT but did much better on the ACT and rather bad on the SAT1, will Harvard look at my ACT score instead? i realize that they will get my SAT1 score when i send in SAT2s which i did particularly well in, but still.... Thanks!
