Did she take the class for high school credit as well? If she did, the college would send the transcript to her high school and it will probably count as one of her high school classes, with the same weight as regular classes. If she took the class for college credit only, I think that it’ll just be part of her college GPA. She’ll just be giving a separate transcript to colleges. Something like that.

She did get credit for it from her high school–it was a one semester college class and she got credit for a HS year long class…will it factor into her GPA like a AP class?

Thanks

I’m pretty sure that it would be weighted regularly in the GPA, so it wouldn’t be like an AP class. There might be a section in the application that your daughter can use to let the college know that she took it as a college class though.

I’m not completely sure, so maybe you should ask the high school to confirm.
