Hello, im a sophmore currently in high school but will be a junior in august and I'm going for marine option nrotc scholarship at texas a&m. I wanted to see what my chances are for this scholarship: GPA- 4.2 weighted, Extracurricular activities- no sports cause I cant get a ride but I have done 6 years of football before high school, have been on freshman/sophmore class council, 200 volunteer hours. Physical Requirements- run my 3 mile in 19:35, 21 pull ups in two min, 104 crunches in two min and took asvab got a 84 but waiting on act next year. So what do you think my chances are, thank you.

You are a good candidate, but it will be easier to know more after you have taken the ACT and SAT tests next year.

The Marines are deeply interested in your physical fitness. Keep working on that, and maintain your grades. If possible, try to participate in a varsity sport. If that is not possible, try to participate in some other sport type activity. Martial arts would be an excellent idea. I recommend judo.
