NSLC-too trite or a good shot??

I've heard it is a "been there done that", and i was accepted. Now, in case they give me a good scholarship, should i go or should i go to my other option(internship at a consulate in Boston)???

P.S. I wanna study international relations..

the internship would be better -- think of NSLC as a couple of days learning all about the topic. If you go to the international relations one, you will spend the time with adults who work in that field talking to you about what they do, small group activities that have something to do with international relations -- plus the typical rah-rah, we are great morale boosters and some sightseeing wherever you are.

I personally think that NSLC is a great introduction to a career for a kids who doesn't know much about it. but if you know quite a bit (do model un, stuff like that) it is probably a waste of time.

my son did get a very good scholarship for NSLC-Law, really enjoyed it and thought it was well worth his time. However, although he participates in Teen Court, he is homeschooled and he didn't know all that much about the Law profession and the different options and type of work that lawyers do. for him it was time well spent.

BUMP...i am kinda wondering the same thing. NSLC worth it or no?

I'd take the internship. More practical experience, IMHO.
