Hi, I'm a rising senior and I'm going to apply for NSLIY Korea. I'll also be apply for colleges, so preferably I'd like to go for nsliy's summer program but year long could help me learn the language better and actually retain the knowledge since I have no korean language learning experience. I'm nervous of possibly taking a gap year before going to college.
What are the PROs and CONs of applying for summer vs year long? or just your opinions.
And what are the program's or based on your experience/knowledge of me still applying for korea if I've never learned korean before?

Year long implies you are postponing college unless you are a langauge major in which case you might be able to make use of this in some way while summer means you lose the last free summer you have before college.
