NU vs Rice vs JHU BME

I'm an international student (no aid) who will major in bioengineering/BME, and I still don't know which to choose :( Rice and NU seems to have the laid-back, fun culture - while JHU is an intense, scholarly institution. However, JHU's BME is #1 in the US and very prestigious.

If you were me, which would you choose and why?

Thank you in advance! :( I really need feedback.

If you think you can handle JHU’s environment and would enjoy it there go with JHU, otherwise go with NU or Rice.

^ Yeah, I think that one of my main goals is to change myself (because I’m wayyy too quiet and unsociable) so I’m not sure if JHU’s culture can help me towards that goal.

btw, thank you so much for replying to my threads. :)

I would go with NU if you have any doubt about the intensity of JHU. If you go to JHU you’re still going to be quiet and withdrawn because of all the work. That’s not to say that NU won’t be a lot of work also, but JHU has a reputation for being brutal.
