nu vs. Washu olin vs. wharton

Hi Please if anyone has any thoughts
My D has been accepted to Northwestern School of Communications, Wharton UPenn and Olin Washu.
She would like to have a career in business with an emphasis in marketing/advertising--she is not sure which school would be best, she is very friendly and outgoing!
Thank you for any help!

There’s simply no question about this-Wharton.

I personally find it funny that some start seriously start throwing Olin undergrad in the same bracket as Wharton because a news ranking recently proclaimed so.

I’m a realist, so I prefer to talk about things practically. WUSTL and NU are indeed great schools that offer fabulous opportunities.

But in terms of career opps, course offerings, networking, and brand name (All the idealists can say this doesn’t matter, but that doesn’t mean too much given the fact that we live in a world in which pride is a sin), Wharton is miles above any undergraduate business school.

Your child’s interests are also important to consider-If the competitive nature of Wharton doesn’t appeal to her, she may be happiest at NU or Olin. But the chances of her regretting picking Wharton are quite slim to the chances of her regretting turning down the world’s overall best undergrad business school (a rather established fact regardless of some arbitrary recent ranking-ask a random set of employers and students which of these 3 they’d pick and you’ll see my point).

Best of luck and feel free to PM with additional questions!
