Nuclear engineering for grad school

Nuclear engineering is probably one of, if not my top choice for an engineering major right now. Unfortunately, the two schools im considering right now (caltech and stanford) do not have nuclear engineering programs. I am planning on going to grad school, so if it really is something that I want to do later on, what should I major in? Chemical engineering, MechE, EE?

eerrmm....bump?

I have known many who have gone from ME to Nuclear.

i have a professor who had an undergrad in physics, got a masters in physics then went to nuclear engg for phd.

Id defiantly go for Physics, go into particle physics if you want nuclear stuff/
