I'm not really sure what schools I'd be competitive for, so maybe you guys can help me out with that :)
I'm currently a senior at Rutgers looking at nuclear engineering phd programs
my stats:
3.85 gpa (because of one bad semester)
620V/800M, 5.5 writing
an nsf reu, 3 semesters of research experience at rutgers, and I'm working on an honors thesis
I'll have three good recs, and I've been tutoring math and physics for 3 years

I'm a physics major though, do you think that would affect my chances at engineering grad schools?
I was thinking of Berkeley, Michigan, Texas A&M, North Carolina, MIT (all though that's probably a long shot), are those reasonable? Any other suggestions?

thanks a lot
