Hello all.

I have narrowed down my two major choices to neuroscience and pharmacy. Pharmacy is my number one choice but i am applying to only 0-6 schools in the northeast so my options are limited.

What are some good schools in the northeast that have a decent neuroscience program? Minus the ivies of course, not really looking to get into one this major is more of a fallback.

If you’d be willing to look outside the NE to the South, Rhodes is in a very unique position of being one of a very few (the only?) small liberal arts college offering a Neuroscience major. It’s a joint offering of Psych and Biology. Rhodes grads also have excellent admission success with Pharmacy school, so there’s no reason you have to choose one or the other. Major in neuro for undergrad and go from that to a PharmD program.

My daughter is interested in majoring in neuroscience so we’ve been looking at schools in the east, south & midwest. Try Colgate, Boston U, Pitt, Lehigh. Pitt is probably a good choice because it has a pharmacy program as well. It also less expensive since it’s a state school.
