Number of classes won't fit on Common App

So the Common App’s “Current Year Courses” tab allows you to report 10 classes for the academic year. I took 6 classes for the fall semester and I’m currently taking 7 for the spring semester. I contacted Common App support with this question and all they told me was “You should use the Additional Information area in the Writing section to share relevant information about yourself that is not captured or cannot be elsewhere in the application.”

So am I supposed to report the remaining three courses in the ‘Additional Information’ area or something else? That just seems like it would be a little out of place…

Use additional information. One of my kids couldn’t fit all her senior year of high school classes in the list space allowed (several teensy credit art classes drover her over), so she put it in the additional info section. It will be fine – just put a header that says “Current Courses continued:” or something like that. You may need to use a text editor (not Word) to format it and then paste it – print it out (as you should print your whole application anyway to review it) before submitting it.
