For what major? My daughter applied for PT. When did you (or your child) apply?
Nursing major but she was only admitted to the university with today’s letter of admission. The school of nursing will decide in February. We submitted in October.
Interesting. I wonder if PT works the same way. But my daughter just applied on 12/1.
@Ally86 Your admissions counselor at SLU will know for sure.
Did she get in all the schools listed?
@Madysen_Thomas, looks like she got into Jacksonville, LNO, and Quinnipiac. NYCmamaof3 is still waiting on the other schools…
I got into a few myself - direct entry to nursing including UDEL :)))) good luck !!
@Madysen_Thomas What are the other schools you received admission into besides UDEL?
Looks functionally the same as direct admit with a 3.0 weed out GPA?

Waiting on Fairfield, Sacred Heart, UConn, UMass -Amherst. I have heard Fairfield responses go out before Christmas; anyone know about the others?
UConn - results in by early march
Fairfield - by mid-December
UMass Amherst - by end of December
Sacred Heart - December 15
Thank you! It will be a long wait for UConn, then
Yes, since UConn doesn’t offer EA, and the RD deadline is Jan-15. The priority deadline of Dec-1 is if students want to be considered for Merit & Honors Consideration
I did a virtual info session for Sacred Heart last week and they said decisions go out via snail mail the last week of January. I believe the EA application deadline is not until 12/15.
Has anyone heard from UMass Amherst yet?
Update for SLU merit scholarships: Previously, I read that SLU required a 3.2 GPA to keep the merit scholarship. Our admissions letter dated December 1, 2021 reads: “Renewal is contingent upon the student maintaining a 3.0 cumulative grade point average at Saint Louis University.”
