NVCC to USMA

Okay so I am currently a freshman at Northern Virginia Community College-Annandale, as a first year student who just graduated from high school June 2011. I've had an intrest to be in the military, however West Point was that one school that I have wanted to attend for more reasons than just the prestige of the school. How do I apply to USMA? I know that I would have to start off as a plebe its just that would I still have to fill out the Candidate Questionaire even though it asks for my SATs/ACTs as well as class rank? and when should I start my official application proccess for 2016 or 2017? another thing that worries me a little is that I had to take a placement test for mth over the summer and got placed into this developmental class for the first semester at NOVA I took care of that class yet as a result of taking it wasnt able to take chem, physics or calculs holding me off a tad. I would be able to take thoes classes for the second semester and summer (in that case should I begin my USMA application as well as nomination then?? and hold off now? doing so wouldn't have me graduate by 2016 or 2017) Now when it comes to graduating from USMA is there any POSSIBLE way that I can knockout some credit hrs. so that I can graduate with my designated graduation class (2015) and if not. WHY DO SERVICE ACADEMIES IMPLEMENT THIS CRAZY RULE? I need some advice on how to get through this process...very tricky for a community college student but less challenging for a high school student
