I got into NYU and it is my dream school…but they only gave me 1k in scholarships. I don’t know what to do…I can’t believe they gave me so little and I can’t go there without money…someone please tell me what to do

kinda bummed but it’s fine because I have like 8 other acceptances (this is my first “rejection”). So now I’m deciding between: University of Washington, University of Miami, and Boston University.
@kingslayer68 for reals?? HAHAHAH, maybe i took a waitlist so you could be admitted to NYU, and maybe you could have given your spot for me at Penn. in any case, congrats on both of our acceptances!!!

@swithygirl same here. D was waitlisted which was a bright spot after rejections from UCSB, UCLA, UCSD, SDSU (shockingly) and UW. I haven’t researched yet but when do they start telling people they are off the waitlist and do they publish your waitlist details?
@redwoodcity hey, I also got denied from SDSU. Huge application pool, something like 97,000+. Luckily I wasn’t too keen on going there because I am in california and wanting to get out (at least for college). Deciding between Marymount Manhattan College, The New School, and University of Puget Sound. Congrats on acceptance to everyone that sees this! We are going to NYC!
@redwoodcity I don’t know but she was excited that she was waitlisted after her rejections. Of course Irvine rejected her and now Syracuse is looking better but we will go tour the state schools that were her safety next week.
