NYU 87.5 not B+?

<p>I am incredibility frustrated because I just got a grade for a class where I was expecting a B+, but the teacher gave me a B. Even though I got a 87%. I sent her the page from nyu.edu that says the nyu grading system says a 87 is a B+ (I sent it politely), and she politely responded saying in her class a 87 is a B. The only reason I care is because it brings my GPA from a 3.5 to a 3.6 because Im a freshman. Is there anyway I can get a B got the class, but get the 87% GPA? Or is there really any solution to this? Thanks!</p>

<p>Grades are up to the professor. In some classes, a 90 is a B+.</p>
