NYU Admissions

Hey guys!

I’m a non-US citizen (I have quite a bit of European background) and a junior in high school. My first choice school is most definitely NYU, and I have been looking up statistics and average scores to see what my odds of getting in are. Prepscholar (I have no clue if this is reliable) told me my chances are a slim 9.79%.

My unweighted GPA is a 3.65 rounded, and my weighted is 4.35. My SAT on the new scale is a 1260, 680 in English and 580 in math. I speak French and Spanish fluently as I was raised in both countries (and plan to mention that in my short essay question (; ) and I have done a few extra curricular activities (volunteering, field hockey, YMCA) and been in some clubs such as NAACP, NHS and French National Honors Society. I have yet to get my ACT scores.

Seeing that, do my odds look good? Is Prepscholar reliable? If any of you are already in NYU, were your scores similar when you sent them in?

Hope someone will be able to shine a light on this for me
