NYU, BC, Chicago, U of Rochester, TCNJ

before you laugh at these stats, please realize that i am serious and really want to know about my chances, if there are any.

Asian male in central jersey
GPA: ~3.2 UW, 3.6 W
SAT: 2300
SATII: Chem 600, Spanish 700
took all hardest classes and honors and ap etc. (classes clearly geared towards Business Administration, i go to a specialized high school program)

EC: Varsity Soccer, Lacrosse(capt.), Track, started a stock market club, other random clubs as well

brother is an alumni at stern if that helps
also, any other recommendations for other schools would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

oh btw my rank is in the 10%

Definitely ED to Stern- Good Luck

ehh...not bad... SAT II suck major.. but the SAT I may compensate.. its a gamble

Weak GPA, strong SAT, weak SAT II
NYU--match (deponds on program)
BC--match
Chicago--match / slight reach (write a good essay)
U of Rochester--safe match

thanks for the replies

do you really think a sibling alumni will help at all? and i hear stern is damn competitive nowadays and gpa is pretty important (mine is quite low). im flattered that you even considered chicago a slight match

bump? anybody?

I'd say go for BC or U of Chicago, unless you want Stern at NYU.

Your GPA is low, but your class rank is good, and your SAT score is great. There is no undergraduate business program at Chicago.

BC has become really competitive in recent years. Being a Jesuit college, a large percentage of their students come from parochial schools, so students from other types of high schools don't always bode well.

NYU is a possibility, and I think you're safe at Rochester.

Personally, I'm not impressed by TCNJ. (I'm also in NJ, and just finished the college process.) I think the others fit you much better.
