Hey guys! NYU has been one of my top picks since sophomore year. Back then, I wanted to major in marketing or public relations, so my concentration was always on Stern. However, I'm now confused on what exactly I want to major in but I'm heading toward economics. I think I want work with the government, a NGO or the like rather than actually working in business. My main conflict is that NYU Stern has a more prestigious title than CAS and may have better job placing, although that may be solely for business.

So, my question is - should I apply to Stern econ for its prestige, or apply to CAS so that I can double major in economics and political science? Also, is it even possible to major in economics at Stern and also major in political science at CAS? Any insight would be much appreciated!
