Hi all,

I was pretty set on attending UCSB untiI found out that I had been admitted into the College of Arts and Science at NYU with a major in econ. I would be majoring in econ and accounting at UCSB. I live in California, so the tuition for UCSB would be much cheaper than at NYU, but my parents would be willing to pay for NYU if I really wanted to go because NYU has a better national name, and more opportunities for me to develop my professional network. does anyone know how the cas econ program at nyu holds up against ucsb's econ and accounting major?

However, I am worried that an econ major from NYU's CAS will be overshadowed by all the NYU sternies. I also feel like I would enjoy my time at UCSB more, partially because of the environment and because I would be having a more typical college experience as opposed to NYU's unique urban environment. Any thoughts?
