Hi I am currently a sophomore at NYU CAS studying economics. To be honest I'm quite tired of NYU so I'm thinking about transferring to Penn LPS for Econ. The only reason I'm applying to LPS is because I currently have a pathetic cumulative GPA of a 3.5 which rules me out for CAS or Wharton. Can someone who knows the LPS program please give me some advice? Thanks in advance.

I’d stay at NYU, personally. The Penn LPS program seems targeted more at older students, career changers, and it does not feel particularly integrated with the Penn community, in my opinion. A lot of the LPS courses seem to be at night because the students often are working at the same time.

Also, while I’m not sure about the LPS classes, the Penn econ curves are brutal.
