It's a week before EDII results are released, and I applied to CAS as my first choice and indicated that I wouldnt mind being admitted into LSP. A few weeks ago, the "Program" I was listed under was CAS. However, today it says that I am under "Liberal Studies" in its Core Program. What does this change of status indicate? Does it mean they're currently reviewing me under LSP or have I been admitted into LSP?

Blueducks, the same thing happened to me. Actually, the results will come out in six days. I’m assuming that would suggest admission to LSP, but it could also mean that LSP is now evaluating.

@blueducks As Sean Abbott has reiterated time and time again, your Albert account cannot tell you whether you have been admitted or not. That being said, you’re currently being evaluated for LSP because CAS has rejected you. Hopefully, you’re ultimately admitted into the liberal studies program! Best of luck.

FYI to future applicants, I DID get accepted into LSP.
My FA did change as well despite not applying for FA.

FYI to future applicants: if you apply to CAS, and you check the box indicating you are willing to be considered for LSP, you WILL BE PLACED INTO LSP! It doesn’t matter if you are qualified for CAS or not–it gives NYU the ability to put you into LSP, and they WILL do it. And yes, if your program changes in your application status, then you are in LSP. Period.
