On my admissions letter it says "...you have been admitted to the Core Program in Liberal Studies at New York University...The Core Program in Liberal Studies is a rigorous curriculum where our freshman and sophomore two-year course of study emphasizes the Great Books, focusing on the masterworks of world cultures..."

However, on the Admissions Offer page of NYU, it had put me into Global Liberal Studies Program(GLS) with Description of Core Program

I have been doing researches and the Core Program is the two-year one and GLS is all four years. So which one did they put me in? 2 yr or 4 yr?
And who can explain the difference bt/ LSP, Core Program, and GLS? I am really lost and freaking out.

LSP = Liberal Studies Program
GLS = Global Liberal Studies
Core = the first two years.

By default you’re placed in the core program. At the end of the two years (so ideally you’d be in junior standing) you get to choose which school to transfer into (guaranteed, except Stern, Tisch, and Steinhardt MCC) or stay in liberal studies. If staying, you transition to GLS, where you finish the rest of the two years as a liberal studies student.
