Not to hijack your thread, but I have a similar question. Say I were to go to a place like UMD-CP and choose Econ over their Business major. Would I be at a disadvantage (I only care about recruiting and obviously the quality of the respective programs)?

i have no idea but i would like to clarify that there is a difference between your situations. Stern offers an econ major itself and so does CAS... so i would THINK you are at a slight disadvantage (i know wharton doesn't offer an econ concentration anymore you it probably wouldn't be that different)

Same here, if I chose a school's econ over their business admin will it put me in a disadvantage(Their business school doesn't provide econ)?
