Anyone not have the 2016 and 2017 column in the FA but didn’t apply for FA
I submitted FAFSA and CSS profile just because I heard that it’s recommended applicants do that. I don’t need / won’t get financial aid
@Anbu1998 yep, in that category, no change and didn’t apply
nope, @emmataylor04 exactly
@emmataylor04 a&m is the LAST place i want to go to lol
@emmataylor04 @EngineerGeek if you don’t mind me asking, what are your stats??
quite awful which is why I’m so nervous for tandon haha @emmataylor04 @sofialicir
Anyone apply to sps??
I’m hoping that my mom being an alumni counts for anything
Yo…what do you guys make of the Financial Emails being sent yesterday if decisions have been made?
@ilovedogs2222 i applied to CAS as my main choice, but LPS is my second choice
@skoi123 legit i formulated a theory about this… so decisions are already made. they wouldn’t have contacted us a week before emails go out about our financial aid app unless they know we’re attending. if they were to file applications for every student, they would’ve contacted us way earlier bc it takes a lot of time. also around this time exactly, financial aid statuses start to change, so maybe thats why they sent the email, which also relates back to the rumor that people who get changes in their status are accepted, even tho i think they fixed the glitch this year
So I guess the question is: did anyone who did NOT apply for financial aid NOT get yesterday’s email?
Did anyone who completed financial aid properly get an email??
I didn’t apply and hence got the email.
@lemonlyman328 no one who applied properly got the email, it was only to those who’s FAFSA either wasn’t sent or wasn’t processed correctly. its just that they wouldn’t be sending emails this close to the deadline if who they sent the email to weren’t accepted. its only a theory tho
Mine still shows “award access not available”!!
This is why the question is still if they sent the email to ALL applicants who didn’t apply for FA or just some. So far no one has said that they did not apply and did not get the email.
I’m an international and got it. And it says on the email that FAFSA is only required for US citizens et.al but not international.
Can someone please tell me if I’m checking for the FA Change correctly? So I first login to Albert and on the left side there are 5 categories: “Admissions,” “Financial Aid,” “Events,” “Visiting Students,” and “Albert Help.”
In the Financial Aid section, I have three options: Financial Aid Summary, Accept/Decline Financial Aid, and View My To Do List. I clicked Financial Aid summary and the message I see is “AWARD ACCESS NOT AVAILABLE.”
Does this mean that I don’t have the FA Change?
By the way, I’m from New York.
