Sounds very odd. No one got early notification last year. (I donā€™t actually even know if MLK scholars got early notification in the ED round, I know they do in the RD round.) Are you sure heā€™s not pulling your leg? Have you seen a screenshot of his admit letter?

@alliwon and others still waiting for fafsa updates -last year they almost all updated the same time and those that hadnā€™t, had some kind of glitch (they hadnā€™t matched up your fafsa with your application, usually because the NYU ID hadnā€™t been entered if I recall correctly) so for those of you still waiting for fafsa updates, I suggest you call them tomorrow.

^ what SJ2727 said. All the decisions are released at once, every round. If your friend actually got an acceptance online well, thatā€™s really odd especially as I donā€™t think admissions ever releases decisions on a weekend. Possibly a computer error? I hope itā€™s a real acceptance and not a glitch!

Interesting that he got his admissions decision early. Probably just an accident but thatā€™s cool!

Well I mean the decision release date is the 15th at it is a Sunday but the decisions are released at approximately the same time on the same day.
