Ap chem yes but I had a fever during the test so I got a 2 I have a 90 in that class at brookyln tech a notoriously difficult school and a 720 on my sat2 chem hopefully will prove I’m not an idiot at chem and I am taking ab calc this year 85 in the class!

I took ap chem and sat2 during sophmore year and physics junior year!

Brooklyn Tech is a very good school. You are probably on the bubble. Your writing and English SAT scores are a bit low. My friend’s kids who are bio majors did research in the summer so your EC’s for biology may not be up to par with other applicants.

It was really difficult for me to attain research programs. Many only admitted minorities and as a chinese I lost out on many programs including one for genomics at Mount Sinai >.> I developed my love for biology rather late as well (junior year). But thanks for that bit of info! I wrote all over my supplements that on the first day of NYU (if I get admitted) I would attempt to do research. Low english scores are because chinese is my first language. :(

oh you go to brooklyn tech! I go to a very similar school. and chinese is also my first language.
seems like we got a lot in common xD
I have a quick question:
are we supposed to send AP scores to college before or after we are accepted (my school is telling me after but you said you sent them in before)

sent as in self reported on common app! Your school is right you have to submit them AFTER you get in. Sorry for the confusion!

Between a high match and a low reach since you applied ED II. As an ED applicant myself, I know the wait for results can be long and tantalizing. Hang in there, you’ll get through it :)

oh ok thanks rmui!

Sigh “low-reach” is that like 25%?

4 days left!

1 day!!! wish me luck =[!

comes out tomorrrrooww!
