NYU’s English department is ranked #20 overall. I am interested in creative writing (with possibly a Tisch cross-minor in screenwriting) but am intimidated by NYU’s size and lack of campus. Does anyone know anything about the quality of the English department in terms of how much it challenges and supports you, and whether students are close-knit or professors actually care about their students?
