I am a Pace University student with an interest in transferring to NYU college of arts and sciences. I will apply as an entering junior as an English major. Here are some quick facts/stats:

MAJOR: Mathematics

CREDITS: 45 credit hours (by the time I apply)

COLLEGE GPA: 3.73 (by the time I apply)
I have taken a very rigourous math heavy workload which contrasts my weak hs record.

HS GPA: 2.5 or so

SAT: 1500/2400

Recomendations will be very good. My essays are on point. I have many hooks and I am a URM MALE and a first generation college student. Do I look good/bad? What should I do to increase my chances. SHOOT ME STRAIGHT!

I’m applying to NYU too, does HS GPA really matter? Anyway I think you are a lock because NYU has an unusually high acceptance rate for transfers in the low 30% range. Much higher than the top UC’s.

Is college GPA that important to NYU? Apart from GPA, what are some other criteria that are highly considered? (i know in general, it is Ec, rec, …). But for NYU, is there anything special we should consider?

I’m a freshman and I’m applying to NYU Fall’11.

Seachaingchong, please hop off of my ■■■■■■■, seriously why are you on my case? Why do you care. I got what I needed and that’s what matters, go fly a kite on farm in Wyoming.
