<p>I'm a sophomore in high school and I really want to go to NYU Gallatin, and I know that I will be applying Early Decision.
I want to become a psychiatrist and in college will be taking main courses in biology and psychology, with other courses in musical theater and Japanese Studies.
What are my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Overall for freshman year my cumulative GPA was a 92.2 which I believe is a 3.7 on a 4.0 scale</p>

<p>Creative Writing -- 1st quarter-87%
SUNY World History Since 1648--1st quarter -85(unweighted)(This is a college level course)
Advanced/Honors Trigonometry --- 1st quarter- 78% so far 2nd quarter- 93% (doing much better
Photography- 93%(1st quarter)
Chemistry w/ Lab and Taking regents later in year- 90%
English 10-92%(1st quarter)
Spanish 3---taking regents later in year-97%(1st quarter)
Physical Education- Passing(They only do Pass or Fail)</p>
<p>Overall this means that I have a 89 avg for this past quarter which is a B+(Not sure what that is on a 4.0 scale)</p>

And keep in mind that I have 3 more quarters of my sophomore year, my junior, and senior year to improve.</p>
<p>And I'm apart of the STEP Program( Science and Technology Entry Program) which is a science and math program that A) is for minority students excelling in math and science and it B) Get me college credit. I've been in it since 7th grade and attend Saturday workshops 2-3 times a month and 4 weeks out of the summer every summer.</p>
