NYU Gallatin is my dream school
I literally can’t imagine going to any other school
My only concern is my insanely low gpa
My weighted is a 83 I’m not sure what it is on the 4.0 scale
I take honors and AP classes such as AP art history and AP US history(junior year), honors English(all years) and honors history(freshman and sophomore year)
I’m in precalc which is a step ahead for my grade, I’m a junior (11th)
My PSAT score was a 1110
Recently i too a practice sat and scored a 1330
I’ve been improving and I’m just starting to take a class as I’m gonna take it for the first time in May
I started a club and I am the president, Muslim Students Alliance
I’m a spray paint artist, I take AP studio art next year
I’m Pakistani and live in NJ so yeah Pakistani American Muslim
I worked with helping hand (non profit organization)
My club won a regional competition and is going on to finals
I will be interning at the Metropolitan museum of art this summer curating the Islamic art department
I started a business of embroidered leather jackets and skateboards which I spray paint myself called Skins leather club which is launching this summer, half of the proceeds go to Pakistan and women’s education organizations
I taught at a Islamic religious Sunday school for three years voluntarily
I interned at Bucati Leather the summer of sophomore year
I want my focus to be philosophy, art history, international relations and political science I want to become a lawyer
I played sports from freshman to sophomore year, nothing special
I did lacrosse and field hockey freshman year and track winter and spring sophomore year
I’m in National Art Honor Society and I hold the position as treasurer
My gpa is my only concern also I need some scholarships due to how expensive NYU is
I’ve talked to people about this before but I’ve never gotten a straight answer
