If I were to be accepted into NYU by applying to CAS early, but I was only accepted into GSP, is this binding? I would assume so, but it really is not fair considering I applied to the school for CAS and I would not be able to enter it until Junior year. Is there a way to get out of it?

Nope, it is no longer binding! The ED agreement no longer stands so you can accept/decline their offer at your own will :)

That is great! Do you have a source that shows ed is no longer binding in this situation?

It just is. When you filled out the Common App and marked schools of interest on the supplement, if you read the block of information above it, it says that ED only applies if you are offered admission to the school of your choice.

You could call or email NYU…

Ok, thank you. This is all hypothetical. I am not currently applying/have applied, so I did not see what the common app said.
