I know 2 people who got the interview so far. First - 92 gpa and like mid 1700 sat. The second person - 86 gpa and high 1500 sat @ChloeMartinez

do you guys think they will weigh ECs heavily?
I think so because just like any other selective college, ECs are major components of an applicant’s application. NYU wants to see who you are beyond your scores and how you spend your time…they want someone who can make use of their resources on campus. lol i sound like an admissions counselor and this is so cliche.
Yes, i agree!! @jjkookie ! I couldn’t have said that any better. But yeah, HEOP is the same process as regular admission. Both check our grades, SAT/ACT scores, essays, EC’s, etc. However, the only thing different is that HEOP looks for low-income students and lower stats than a typical student who got accepted through regular decision.
@Jjkook1 I have similar stats, 3.6 gpa and 1830 sat (1290 cr+m) and im asian. I hope they weigh ec’s heavily. I applied to stern so I have alot of business orientated ec’s,

Sadly, nope…I submitted my apps so early, but they’re taking forever to get back to me. People who applied later than me already got back their decisions… @ChloeMartinez
