I also applied for NYU HEOP. Hopefully we all get in. Crossing my fingers!

Did anyone else apply for HEOP/EOP at Cornell, Stony Brook, Binghamton, and Fordham? Binghamton dropped me because they said I was academically overqualified but Stony Brook said I qualified which is odd because Stony has lower requirements.

I did apply to these school too, but I did early action for Binghamton and deferred, I email them about moving me into the HEOP applicant pool. Not hear back from stony yet?.

@NYUCLASSOF2017 I faced the same situation. Binghamton dropped me from EOP, and Stony Brook didn’t. What is your stats, if you don’t mind?

I was overqualified for all the suny eops I applied to also (Binghamton, Stony Brook, Buffalo, Brockport)

I have to send in the supplemental forms to determine if I’m qualified economically for Bing and Stony urrrghhh mad work

Do you guys know what it means if we don’t get an interview for HEOP at NYU . I heard some people get in without the interview and only quite a few are accepted from the interview

@Farahana I though only the people get an interview for HEOP are selected. As stated on NYU website, "If you are selected by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, you will receive an email inviting you to attend an OP Eligibility Information Session. Attending the information session is required and includes a group interview with one of our staff so that we can learn more about you and your academic interests. "

@Farahana so you are determined academaically qualified for bing and stony ? I still have not hear back from stony, and I hope bing will transfer my application to HEOP, because I was deferred from their early action

Does HEOP at NYU take EOP transfers?
