Hello everyone,

I'm thinking of transferring to the NYU College of Nursing for the Fall 2015 semester. Currently I'm a freshman at William Paterson University in the nursing honors program, but it is just not the school for me. I would like to know how competitive it is to get in and whether or not I would have to send in my SAT scores, as I feel it might lower my credibility. The website says that I must have at least 30 credits under my belt to be exempt, however, being that I am still in my freshman year, my spring transcript would not come out until after May and the deadline for transfers is March 1. Does that technically mean that I do not have 30 credits under my belt if I were to apply for Fall 2015? (by the end of this school year, would have completed 34.5)

Currently I have a 3.88 GPA and in high school I had a 4.36 GPA (weighted). I was in the top 10% of my class, and I have participated in various extracurricular activities (both in high school and now). However, my SAT score was on the lower side, a 1780 (CR: 610 Math: 590 Writing: 580). Would NYU consider my spring semester despite not having completed it yet by the deadline, or do I not qualify as having at least 30 credits.

Thank you all!
