NYU or Bowdoin?

So, I am highly considering early decision for one these two schools (both my top choice) but I am completely ambivalent as to which school I should go ED to. I am [relatively] confident I could get into either, but I have visited and absolutely love both. YES, I am aware they are basically polar opposites in almost every aspect. (environment, size, community, etc.) I am interested in International Relations/Government by the way.

So, NYU obviously has amazing connections and resources to greatly aid students pursuing their respective careers (I visited the Wasserman Center which was extremely impressive). I also really love New York and can totally see living there for four years. However, I have heard that sometimes it can be difficult to find a clique/group or whatever with which to fit in. Also, this isn't too important to me, but I also am aware there isn't a huge sense of school pride like other big schools.

Bowdoin, on the other hand, is also in an awesome location. Brunswick is a really nice college town with stuff to do, not to mention awesome natural surroundings (the sea, wilderness, etc.). Bowdoin definitely has a great sense of community and people seem to really connect with one another there. I also love the campus and how -in a word- cozy it is. In general I got a really connected vibe from the campus. I also love the idea of the Outing Club; I could definitely see myself actively involved in this. However, I'm a little bit afraid it could be too far away from everything (I'm from NC).

Thoughts/perspectives?

Why go ED on either? Just go RD on both.

Absolutely Bowdoin. You’ll get to be in the city anyway during summers (internships) and likely when you graduate. I think Bowdoin is a much better college experience in every way possible. I can’t imagine picking NYU over it.
