I would like to know which school would be a better choice. If I got into both schools I would have a tough decision choosing. Film and Television at NYU or Film Animation and Video at RISD. I want to be an animator and I want to get the best opportunities when I graduate. Which school would be better to go to so that I can learn how to create films and be the best animator I can be. I think I have a good shot at getting into RISD. It might be tougher to get into NYU but if I did I would like to know which program is better and why.

I can afford both and yeah I may be spinning my wheels but I just wanted some opinions if I’m accepted. I just wanted some help.

NYU and RISD are both amazing schools for either one of those programs. Personally, I would choose NYU over RISD, but that’s partially because of the people there. I feel like NYU has more diversity, speaking in terms of not only ethnicity, but also personality. There are more people, more majors, etc. I believe that you’ll be successful at both, but I hating it comes down to which one you like more.
