I'm planning to major in business and have two options rit now: NYU or UCBerkeley. I'm trying to choose between them and I hope I can get some advice on each. Thanks a lot!

well Stern is ranked better than Haas

[Undergrad - BSchools](http://bwnt.businessweek.com/interactive_reports/undergrad_bschool/)

However, they are both amazing schools so I think you need to consider other factors like money, location, and the campus life. Which is giving you the best package? Do you like Cali or would you prefer NYC? Do you want a campus or is school spirit not really your thing?

I think Berkeley in general has a stronger reputation and more recognition, but NYU may offer better internship opportunities.

It depends on the person. I know a person who transfered from NYU to Berkeley and another person planning to transfer from Berkeley to NYU.

Visit both campuses. NYU’s business program is very good if you want to work out east and Haas is also good (it has more deflation), but if you pull it off you will be able to get a very good job in the west coast.

exactly, for me, i’ve visited berkeley, will visit nyu soon. for berkeley, i like the weather, campus, it’s cheaper and it’s ranked higher overall. for nyu, there’s probably more opportunities in terms of internships, private school, and i don’t need to apply for business school again, since i’m directly accepted into the business school…so the choice is really hard for me. one thing i know for sure though is that i’m hoping to have an MBA after undergrad…so maybe that can play a really important part. thx for all the advice! would love to receive more…thx a bunch!
