ok so this is my first time here, i wouldnt have asked for help if i hadnt been so desperate, but i need help picking a poem i've written for the nyu supplement. To me, they all suck since i cant really write poems and havent done so since middle school and i see no reason in asking a person that is applying for economics to write a poem. thank you in advance to anyone that is willing to help and read my poem

lol I am also applying for economics (and definitely agree with the whole poem thing) I’ll help if you would like

I’ve gotta say, I think NYU’s questions really reflect the type of applicant they’re looking for. The questions aren’t meant to be simple, but NYU does want to see your ability to think outside of the box. Think about something you like (a hobby, a movie, a song…etc) and try to be creative with it. For inspiration, you might try reading some short poems online and figure out which ones you like best.
If you need more help, PM me and I’d be happy to look over some ideas :)
