some people have been saying ivy day- so the 26th apparently? not sure though
I think that in the past they have been released on Ivy Day… if my memory of watching countless decision reactions on YT has served me…
Last year I think it was the day after Ivy Day, no? Can’t remember if it was Ivy Day or the day after.
No, last year it was Ivy Day, 3/28. I think it’s the leap year that’s throwing you off.
@SJ2727 thanks !
@zouba123 hey thanks for responding, i did not get invited to the candidate weekend but maybe that was because of AD being my second choice. Anyone here who can confirm that?

IS NYU still releasing by the 1st?
@CindyLeuWho I think so! They tweeted that they were a few days ago, but that can always change with the coronavirus stuff
NYU tweeted something and it said a few weeks. So maybe it won’t be the 26th, but like the 30th or 31st. IDK?
Ivy Day, USC, UC Berkeley all 3/26.
good chance NYU also goes with this?
Last year it was a day before Ivy Day if I’m not wrong… (Source: Youtube Decision Videos)
@ellie1234 If money was an issue for ED, why is it not an issue for RD? I understand the commitment aspect, but NYU is not known to be generous. I would just caution you to temper expectations, because if you do get accepted, you may well find that you cannot afford to go there.
@fl1234 I understand what you’re saying. I just couldn’t do the commitment with how bad they are with aid. The money is still an issue, but right now I am mostly just hoping to get in and I will cross that bridge after the fact. I’m being optimistic and hoping that I can talk it over with my family and we could somehow figure it out if my package isn’t exactly affordable. I have low expectations all around, but it never hurts to hope for good things!
When are they expected to release decisions do we know?
Hey Can you guys get on this link and see if they mention ‘satisfactory academic progress’
