@llennahs101 In the housing portal, but that wouldn’t happen until tomorrow. However, not everyone who gets in will get freshman.
ok thanks! also, do you know if it means ANYTHING if i have spring 2020- the dropdown bar says NYU washington dc and then summer 2020 says nyu new york?
@llennahs101 please refer to the post right above yours. housing changes mean nothing in the admissions process, just try and distract yourself with something fun until tomorrow. again, any changes in housing mean absolutely nothing.
Why is everyone freaking out about housing when admission results are like tomorrow…
Do I have to repost the proof that housing changes DONT matter. They really don’t.
My D applied to Tisch, and honestly, this has really dampened my interest in Tisch for her…
NYU Tisch dean replies to pleas for tuition refunds with bizarre video of her dancing to R.E.M.

I can’t help but be super anxious
@momzilla2D Agreed. It was really unprofessional and really did not look good for NYU. A more proper and sincere response rather than a dancing video would’ve been more appropriate regardless of her intentions.
@rtkpdx you honestly have no idea how much that helped my mental state. thank you SO much, and congratulations! have fun this fall!

Are we sure MLK scholarship recipients already came out? I know they come out earlier than RD decisions but could the COVID-19 virus have delayed the results of that too?
Earlier in this thread people have said they received notice that they were MLK scholars.
Does anyone know when exactly NYU releases decision tomorrow?
People are saying noon, but we’ll probably find out tomorrow morning.
Does anyone know how competitive the School of Professional Studies is at NYU as an undergrad? My son applied for a major in Sports Management. While his GPA is high with 3 APs, his SAT is below the average. Is the SPS as difficult to get into as Stern or CAS? Thank you!
Does anyone know how selective global liberal studies is?
@baseballmom4 I believe SPS is not as selective as Stern or CAS (which are the two most selective I believe along with Tisch). NYU is holistic, so you can compensate with a lower SAT score with things like the Why NYU essay and other stuff like that.
Thank you so much for the reply! For context, his SAT is a 1260, but I think his Why NYU essay was strong. Some good ECs and Recs too.
anyone know how competitive rory meyers is? i know there’s only like 60 people in the freshman class or something but is it because less students apply? any known stats on acceptance rate? NYU is my last school and the paranoia is kicking in
When applying to CAS are the chances different depending on major? Like what would my odds be as an Environmental Studies major?
