Accepted into CAS with a $21k scholarship! anyone know if CAS scholarship is the same thing as NYU grants? or should i appeal my aid award for more grants?

I wouldn’t talk about “why NYU” cause they already have that essay. The waitlist essay is supposed to be about what you completed since you last filled out the application. Like any honors, community service experience, or even travel! NYU knows that you want to go to NYU already, focus on you and what you have done since December. Best of luck

Where is the waitlist essay? I only got a form to fill out saying I choose to reamain on the waitlist for my intended major.
Aren’t we not allowed to write an essay if we got waitlisted? The FAQ stated that the school won’t accept anything new.
Also, how are the chances of getting in via waitlist?
Transferring between NYU Shanghai and NYU Stern is very difficult. There is a lot of info on Reddit on this.

I applied for journalism in CAS, but not gonna lie my stats were a bit low for NYU.
SAT- 1320 superscore
GPA- 4.27 at time of applying
Extracurriculars concentrated in journalism and culture.
Worked part time jobs.
Good “why NYU” essay
Decent common app essay that talked about the deportation of my father.
