NYU SAT Scores

I'm applying to NYU stern and would like some advice:
I scored a 1960 on my first SAT (610M, 600R, 750W) and 2090 on my second (730M, 720R, 640 W). My dilemma is since NYU superscores, I was thinking of sending both so that my superscore is 2200, however, my M&R for the first test is pretty embarrassing and even though NYU superscores I'm afraid that they'll see the low M&R and that will negatively effect my chances.

So should I send both and risk the negative effect or just send my 2090?

It’s ridiculous to look at it in that way. You improved from your previous SAT, even though you went down in the W section. One of my friends who applied last year was in the same dilemma, but both of his scores were lower than your first SAT; he was still accepted. SAT is a huge factor in determining acceptance, but it isn’t everything. Show strength in other areas and your first SAT score won’t hold you back.

Also, I don’t think colleges really look at the W section, your CR+M is what truly matters. It’s a great score, so don’t stress it.

I’d send both of them.
