NYU scholarships....?

Okay im rank 9 outta 500 something

SAT: 1540 (800 V, 740 M)

SAT IIs i just took

Writing: 800
literature: 800
math: 730

I also have some writing awards I can list.

If you can't tell, English is my "thing". I want to be an English teacher/professor and also a writer. I already got a full tuition at Pitt but I'm just wondering like..I'm applying to NYU..how commonly do they give out scholarships? because NYU is really expensive and I doubt I'll go even if I might get accepted. did anyone get a scholarship there?

I also had a 1540 and I didn't get any scholarships with my NYU package, but I had a B average and two Cs on my transcript.

I hear they're pretty bad about giving out financial aid, but ya never know. If they really want you, they'll give you money.

I went to NYU over the summer, and today my professor e-mailed me about scholarships: There are only 20 full scholarships to NYU (for all schools), they are extremely competitive and are usually granted to athletes and to select top 1% of applicants.
Now, I don't know about you, but I'm applying to tisch. Tisch has about ten more huge scholarships and these are granted to applicants based on academics and creative portfolio/audition. Check out NYU's website for details on scholarships at the school you are applying to. Goodluck!
