Nyu scps mcghee division

Hello everyone,

I was a traditional undergrad student at well-known prestigious university,
and took some years off.
so I applied to NYU SCPS McGhee Division as a transfer for BS Degree
for next semester and got accepted.

But I have some questions before I decide which school to go.

Have anyone heard of SCPS in NYU?
Is SCPS McGhee Division worth to go?

(Is it worth to go for the prestigious name of NYU,
or is it not worth to go for the department school called SCPS?)

And if it's not worth to go because it's SCPS,
Is it pretty easy to internal transfer schools within NYU?
(Ex. SCPS -> CAS / SCPS -> Steinhardt or etc...)

Your answers will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Anyone please help me …

as for my sister’s experience (who’s now a sophomore at steinhardt) nobody really cares if you’re from SCPS or wherever. But she did tell me that everyone is aware that SCPS is one of the easiest schools to get in to in NYU. Again, my sister’s friend was a SCPS student and she successfully transferred to Steinhardt towards the end of her freshman year. So I think transferring is definitely a good possibility as long as you keep a 3.5 or higher GPA in your freshman year.
